I am fascinated by large and awe inspiring infrastructure. Maybe it’s the complexity of the subject and all the pieces when I paint them. I imagine all the design and engineering, massive amounts of steel and concrete, laborers, supervisors, structural strength, overwhelming size. Maybe it has to do with the interconnectivity they represent, like mycelium. I love bridges.
