I’ve painted since I was a child encouraged by my father. 2017 saw a new stage in my work. I was moved by a tree that I saw in the Negev desert. It was that special moment just after sunset when the air and colors start to get a textural. Not the rosy sunset sky but an atmosphere filling the air with floating particles. That quality in the air that you can not capture in a photograph. I had to try to paint it. In the end I couldn’t capture that moment in my first painting but it lead me to rediscover my love of painting. I seek to paint those magic moments and love the process every time I paint.

Below you can see a series of paintings that I completed in 2017. I was blessed to have my first New York solo show at BabyCastles on Dec 16th as part of the annual MoMBasel show. It was a great success with over 150 guests and I almost completely sold all my paintings which has allowed me to keep painting.
